While Cydia may not be seeing too many updates right now, iOS users are not without options for getting content that they can’t get from anywhere else. FtOS app installer offers us a reasonable range of apps and games including some of the best tweaked apps. How to Delete FtOS App :

FtOS may well offer a lot of choices but not everyone will like it. Others may find that they keep getting minor errors with it and the best way of solving these is to delete it and then install FtOS again. Deleting, you can do it in four ways and it will take your device back to how it was before FtOS:

Method 1: Deleting the App Icon

  1. Unlock your iPhone or iPad and find the FtOS icon on your screen
  2. Tap and hold down the icon until it begins wiggling delete_ftos
  3. In the top corner of the FtOS icon, you will see a small cross; tap it
  4. Tap Delete on the confirmation window and FtOS will be removed, along with the icon, from your devicedelete_ftos

Method 2: Delete the Profile

  1. Unlock your iPhone or iPad and go to Settings
  2. Navigate through General to Profile and Device Management
  3. You will see a list of all the app profiles on your device; find FtOS and tap it
  4. Tap on Delete Profile and exit out of Settings
  5. FtOS has been deleted from your device

Note : For both of the following methods you will need to make sure you have the most up to date version of iTunes on your device; open iTunes, click Help>Check for Updates and follow the onscreen instructions if you do need to update.

Method 3: Reset to Factory Settings

This will restore your device to the latest iOS firmware version, removing not just FtOS but all your data and settings too.

  1. Connect your iPhone or iPad to your computer and open iTunes
  2. Back your data up before you do anything else
  3. On your iOS device, go into Settings and disable Find My iPhone/iPad and your passcode – these interfere with the restore
  4. If your device displays a Trust This Computer message, tap Yes
  5. Click the name of your device from the left-hand menu in iTunes – only if you have two or more devices registered
  6. Now click Restore in iTunes and click Restore again
  7. Wait while iTunes restores your iOS device to the most up to date firmware
  8. When your iPhone or iPad has rebooted, you can start again

Method 4: Restoring From iTunes Backup

For this method, you will be restoring using a backup of your data taken before you installed FtOS:

  1. Connect your device to your PC or Mac and open iTunes
  2. Tap Yes if you see the Trust This Computer message on your device
  3. Disable your passcode and Find My iPhone/iPad
  4. Click the name of the connected device from the left menu, only if you have other devices registered
  5. Click Restore Backup
  6. A list of your backups will now show up; choose one that was done before you installed FtOS
  7. Click Restore and then leave everything alone while the restore is done
  8. Make sure you do NOT disconnect your device as it needs to sync with your computer
  9. When all is done, your device will reboot and you can disconnect it
